I am going to buy a Stand Mixer from KitchenAid, but I want to get the one that’s not too expensive, nor a one with less features. The models in the KitchenAid site, look like the same.

at target they have kiten aid artisans. they dont have the handle on the bowl, but theyr still good. its the one when you lift up the head. its about 179.00 or 199.00 for the more horse power

I have the mixer, 1 bowl and bread attachment. That’s all. I need the rest of the original accessories.

You may be able to find something on ebay. If all else fails, go to kitchenaid.com. They usually have lists of replacement accessories.
ebay may be cheaper.

Old Kitchenaid Grain Mill Attachment

I’m quite excited, I got a new Grain Mill. I used to use this old kitchenaid attachment, that didn’t so such a great job at producing nice fine flour. I also just received my copy of Peter Reinhart’s Whole Grain Breads: New Techniques, Extraordinary Flavor. I made the basic bread yesterday and was very impressed with the texture and flavor of the bread. I have never been able to get the right level of gluten development with my 100% whole grain bread to get the kind of crumb I wanted. Yesterday my dough passed the windowpane test perfectly and it baked up into the most beautiful loaf of 100% whole grain sourdough sandwich bread!
